Alpine 7830 with remote
2 12″ JL 12W6 Audio Subs in custom box
1 Adcom 4304 Amp + Adcom external crossover and xlr cables
1 Rockford Fosgate Punch 200X2 Trans Ana Amp

Someone is selling this on craigslist for $250 . I want to know if the Amps work for the subs. I don’t know anything about car audio. And also does any1 know if the 12″s will fit in a 96 2 door integra?
Thank you.

it seams to me they stand to make a killing in the industry. they have a name that most people reconize and in the world of SPL drags i think they would be right at home. thier professional series stuff has sensitivities of 105db. they have long been the authoritive speaker maker with the “in your face” style; would this not fit the car audio world of today perfectly? there are so many people looking for the loudest and the hardest hitting, it stands to reason to me that klipch if they choose to could come in and very respectfully take a large market share, so why haven’t they?
not sure i would like thier mid-highs in a car, maybe a bit too harsh and too directional (horns?), but i’d love to see some subs / and midbass by them.
interesting facts about thier history and reasoning for not entering car audio, and i see the point about where car audio is heading, its becoming cool to have quantity without the quality, and that really is not the klipch buisness model..
Thanks Haro_bikes… for the extra effort.. I think it’s a crock that they dont want to expand though, i mena they make pc speakers…. and did very well..
Klipch makes inwall speakers…how much different is a car speaker really? I think they just dont know how to fit that horn in a car…

Got Subs? asked:

I got a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Im completely taking out the old stereo and putting in a brand new one with subs and a new head unit and all new speakers. I’m gonna be running 2 300 watt rms MTX subs. The speakers that will fit my doors are 6 3/4″ or smaller. The head unit i will have will push 16 watts RMS. How many watts will I need my speakers to handle and will I need an amp. I want my stereo to have a crisp sound and i want to be able to hear all the noises on all the songs with great quality but i want just a little extra bass.
