Is there a way i can use this harddisk as the source of all my mp3 collection.

I tried connecting with the FM modulator but nothing seems to happen.

I’m planning on replacing my car’s sound system, new stereo, speakers, etc., so I’m trying to educate myself about these things. If I have everything replaced, will my factory installed steering wheel controls still work? I’ve gotten used to them by now.
Also, I don’t want to go crazy with my budget, but I want quality sound. Do you think I should get subs or just stick with some quality speakers? Car has: two tweeters, two 4×6 and two 6×9. 2002 pontiac grand am coupe with monsoon system factory installed. Thanks!

I have an 8″ subwoofer in a ported enclosure in the trunk, with 6×9 2-way speakers on the rear deck, and 5″ speakers in the doors. I think one of the 6×9s may be on its way out because the tinny sound seems to be coming from the rear but I can’t quite tell from which speakers.

Is there some kind of diagnostics CD out there that might be able to play a range of frequencies that would help me pinpoint a broken or failing speaker?
